Sure, this year has been tough for so many of us. But now is the time to put the year behind, look to the future, and give thanks for all that we have.
Whatever you have going on in your personal life, remember…
God will never give you more than He feels you can handle. You may see it as a trial, but He sees it as life. And life goes on.
This is a season of giving. Gifts to loved ones can be stressful. What to buy, crowded shops and so on. But if we stop and think for a minute, Christmas celebrates a gift which we were given, that being eternal life. Given to us by a God who knows and loves us solely because He loves us. There is nothing we can give which matches that.
Santa will come and visit all of our children and leave about whatever they want. As adults, we get what we need instead.
So, Merry Christmas everybody. Celebrate and rejoice. We earned it this year.
